Well, it’s Hurricane Season again. Seems like just yesterday we were leaving for Bangkok, implementing last year’s Hurricane Evacuation Plan.

On Wednesday, we are off to Cape Town, South Africa, where we have rented a house for 3 months (See the “Amazing Whale” link on the right sidebar). We plan on taking several side trips around Africa, beginning the first week in July with a safari with Miami MetroZoo’s very own Ron Magill - who is famous for being a magnet for big cats on the hunt and all sorts of mating wildlife! If I can get him to coach me through the photography, the pictures should be really something! As usual, Peter will be journaling our adventures and I will put our photos in the Photo Gallery.

Lastly, we would really love to have you visit us - once you pay for the flight, the rest is on us! As everything in Africa is “super-sized”, our house, which sits on a cliff overlooking False Bay and the Whale Coast (and it’s the season!) has 4 bedrooms and, so far, we will be rattling around there all alone.
